In order to optimise the reception of antenna systems, care must be taken to ensure an optimal ground connection of the antenna base or the ground band:

Remove existing paint at the contact points with workshop equipment and protect against corrosion with suitable contact paste and also treat the antenna rod thread and the antenna foot thread for contact optimization.

Check antenna cables and antenna dapters for continuity

Check the vehicle for faults caused by retrofit LED lighting
Check the vehicle for faults caused by retrofit voltage converters / power supplies / USB charging adapters
Check the vehicle for interference from retrofit digital power amplifiers
